I had a few academic achievements at Chelsea Vocational high school. I always enjoyed writing so I was finally acknowledged for it. I was always athletically challenged in certain athletic activities, but I conquered them and always had a good attitude. In my freshman year, I won two awards, one in English and the other one in Gym. In my English class I won an award for academic achievement and in gym for “good sportsmanship.” In my sophomore year at Chelsea high school, my drawings were often hung on the wall on display in front of room 204. In my junior year, my teacher Ms. Bermack, entered me in the preliminary round of the competition for the 6th Annual NYCBOE High School Graphic Art competition. I had to design a poster titled “The Future”. My poster was not accepted for the final round so I was unable to compete in June. In conclusion, I believe drawings are our gratitude for life’s beauty. . That’s the way I look at it. Abstract or scenic; drawings represent our inspirations and point us toward greater goals. I hope my own drawings inspire a lot of people by showing them my appreciation of life. |
