About Me

            My Name is Gerald Toribio. I'm 17 years old. I was born April 24, 1990 in the Saint Luke Hospital in 114 Street or 116 Street and Amsterdam Ave. I was born to two Dominican Parents Geraldo and Minerva Toribio. I have two sisters one older and the other is my twin. My older sister's name is Raysa, she is 23 and my twin's name is Geraldine. I currently live in the Bronx County of New York City. I moved there 7 years ago from W 109 Street. The Elementary School I went to is called PS 165 right across the street from where I used to live. I went to a Middle School in W 92 Street and Columbus Ave called MS 247 or Dual Language Middle School. Now I’m a currently a senior in Chelsea High School’s SoHo Art Academy on route to graduate. I’m a quiet and shy person around people I don't know or feel comfortable around but if I feel comfortable my true self crawls out.

     Many things inspire me to keep going in life. Every morning I wake up and think of my grandparents and my parents and think of how hard they worked to give me the life I have now, how privileged I am to have such great parents that will do anything to see me smile. This help me get out of bed because I want to do all I can to pay them back and give them a lot more than they give me even though that impossible because they gave me life. I want to strive in life for my parents, grandmother and the memory of my grandfather. My interests are sneakers, movies, clothing, eating food, computers and, my bed. Sneakers and Clothing are my passion.

     I have many academic achievements. The first is being a senior due graduate in June 2008 in Chelsea High School's SoHo Art Academy with a Honors High School Diploma. Im currently in a Advanced Placement Calculus. I was also in a Math B Honors class in my Junior Year. Im learning how to use Dreamweaver under Mr.Grimes and Ms.Bermack. In my Junior Year I learned how to Adobe Illustrator CS2 under Ms.Bermack. In my Sophomore Year I learned how to Adobe Photoshop CS2 under Ms.Bermack.
